We had a warm weekend around here, and all of a sudden the daffodils (which have been waiting patiently) burst open -- all at the same time. I am always struck by all of the small variations in daffodils. Some are frilly, and some are more streamlined. Some are monochromatic, while others boast a variety of colors on one flower. They are
all gorgeous - and one of my spring-time favorites!
What are your spring-time favorites? Do tell.

p.s. ~ There are now TWO eggs in the nest! See them? |
Such SWEET pictures. I too love daffodils. I also love pansys and don't have any planted yet. Sweet little nest with eggs. Do you know what type bird laid them? I am so excited as a pair of bluebirds just finished a nest in my blue bird house so now I'm watching for eggs to appear! :) It's the little things isn't it?

Love your daffodil pictures. We have a daffodil in the yard that starts out yellow and fades to apricot then to white. I love snowdrops as well as daffodils in the spring. What type of bird has made a nursery in your wreath?
