What's sprouting at your house? This unbelievable heat-wave has started all-things-spring on an early course. For goodness sake - even the weeds are up and taller than any flowers. Shouldn't their schedule run slightly "behind" so that we can appreciate the spring-time flowers before they are overtaken? I'm just sayin'.

I bought a little pot of Muscari at the grocery store last spring.
When they were spent,
I planted the bulbs out under a tree,
and Taadaa!
Remember those Forsythia branches I was going to force?
Too late!
The Cleveland Pear tree.
I'm not sure about this little beauty.
They're something that my sweet hubby found for cheap
on the garden center clearance rack
and brought home to fill an area out back.
And not to be left behind... this sweet little Coral Bells bud.

Our Bradford Pears bloomed a little bit early, and I think my Persian lilacs will, too. Not too much else at the moment, we need a landscape overhaul! (Stopping by from The Rusted Chain)
ReplyDeleteAll the Spring bulbs are blooming. The fruit trees in this area are blooming too. All of my perennials are coming up early. This weather is unbelieveable . It seems everything is coming up and blooming early. Great pics. Blessings!

that pear tree is GORGEOUS
ReplyDeleteOne tulip is up...bloom just getting ready to open, the hosta are forcing above ground nicely, the daylily greenery is growing inches each day, and my transplanted, broken-off piece of wisteria put out a flower from a stub of a branch! Talk about persevering! Your photos are lovely - not sure which one I like best!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers! I especially love the blooms from the muscari! So neat! It almost looks like a bunch of grapes! We have some gorgeousness budding at our house, too! I posted some pictures of our tree blooms and daffodils on Monday and posted pictures of the tulips today!
