He Thinks He's So Smart

The other day, we had an opportunity to have a guest.  And it was my call as to whether or not it would "work."  Since it was somebody that I really wanted to have in our home, I paused over the decision, and really gave it some thought.  It was a last minute, unexpected opportunity.

I was really "okay" with it, and was about to say so when my sweet hubby said,  "We need to bless, not impress!"  Knowing that was an idea directly from the pages of The Reluctant Entertainer by Sandy Coughlin, I said, "Hey, have you been reading MY books?"  (I received Sandy's book from my parents for Christmas.)

Without missing a beat, he said, "No.  I have been reading your BLOG!"

Well.
